Registration & Cancellation policy

  • The registration of participation is binding.
  • Participation is not guaranteed until full payment of the registration fee is received.
  • The participation fees are owed upon registration and are payable within 7 days following submission of the registration, but not later than 7 September 2014.
  • The conference program may be subject to changes.
  • Payments will be refunded if the conference will be canceled by the organizer. In that case, the organizer will have no further liability to the client. Registrations remain valid if the conference has to be postponed.

All cancellations must be made through Conftool and in writing to globelics2014@globelics.org

Calculations for refunds are as follows:

  • For cancellations received and confirmed before 15 September – 1 October 2014 - full refund except a USD 50 administration charge.
  • For cancellations received and confirmed between 1 October and 15 October - 50 % refund except a USD 50 administration charge.
  • For cancellations received and confirmed after 15 October - no refund will be given.
There are no reasons (including but not limited to illness, inability to travel, visa application rejection, travel restrictions etc.) for delegate cancellation which make the above schedule of cancellations inapplicable. Refunds will be made within 28 days of receipt of cancellation notification.

Transfer of registration (presenting authors)
 
Registrations are personal and cannot be transferred.
 
A presenting author who has been granted three nights of accommodation (cf. above) cannot transfer this free accommodation to anyone else.

In special cases where the presenting author has to be changed due to unavoidable circumstances, the author granted three nights of accommodation need to apply for transfer by contacting the Conference Organisers at: globelics2014@globelics.org no later than 7 September 2014.
